A message from the Hostess
Welcome,
Named at birth, Marcia Elizabeth… My pen name is Elizabeth George.
PROFESSIONAL: AUTHOR, CERTIFIED LIFE COACH, AND ATTORNEY
Over the last year, I have found the rhythm to meld several of my passions as I completed my first two beautiful books! The process has enhanced my analytical thinking and refined my life balance. As rewarding was the ability to re-engage creatively with reading and writing.
The books are inspirational and reflect my esteem for positive connections, my joy of living, and my gift for finding answers. It is my inherent nature to find solutions that allows me to remain committed to the work I do as a practicing attorney and a certified life coach.
For more than twenty years, I have mentored children, young people, and adults from all across the globe. From these experiences, I decided three years ago that life coaching, which goes beyond mentoring, is an area that is compatible with my expertise and passion. However, I continue to be rewarded by the first profession I chose since four years old- a lawyer.
I have practiced law for over twenty-two years. I enjoy my practice and the contributions my work makes to people and the environment. My practice of law is supported by my knowledge of the natural sciences, economics and finance and international business transactions. As I continue to make positive differences to the natural environment, I genuinely want to help people identify and operate from their 'best self', so as an author, certified life coach, and lawyer, I have expanded my career portfolio and have continued to extend my network and impact globally.
PERSONAL: FAMILY AND SELF
For over forty years I have known my husband; we remain friends, and still laugh at each other’s jokes! We have been blessed with two children who are giving and helpful to others, and who have made positive life choices for themselves and community. I enjoy very much decorating my home, cooking, baking, entertaining and watching period films with my daughter. Also, I have always had a great appreciation for classical music, books, and fabric!
PLAY: PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS
I love to travel, see the world and engage with people and different cultures. I am happy to share that I get along with people of all cultures and see the world as my home. I have great joy when I share these experiences, especially with my daughter, nephew, son, and husband.
